Simon Cowell has praised Nicole Scherzinger’s work ethic, branding the popstar “a machine”.
The Pussycat Doll joined Cowell’s The X Factor USA earlier this year. Initially announced as one of the show’s two presenters, Scherzinger was eventually promoted to judge following Cheryl Cole’s exit.
Cowell told Interview Magazine that he hoped the Fox competition would find someone as dedicated to their career as Scherzinger.
“I do see a big difference in the American work ethic compared to the British one in a lot of artists. Nicole Scherzinger, who is a judge on X Factor, is a great example of that,” he said. “This girl, honest to God, is like a machine.
“She’s up at five in the morning. She’s in the gym. She’s jogging. She’s working. She’s thinking about everything. She’s rehearsing. She’s hustling. She’s aware of what’s happening around her. She’s got 360-degree vision.”
The music mogul continued: “Beyoncé has that as well. And I think what we’re experiencing is almost like one of those B-movies from years ago where we’re seeing sort of the rise of the super female popstar.
“It’s like they’ve all been bred to take over the world and dominate everything in entertainment. They are unbelievable, these girls.”
Cowell, 51, added: “Hopefully that’s going to rub off on what we’re doing on this show, because there are a lot of people who think that they can just wake up at 11am, walk into a recording studio, go into the audition room unprepared, and people are going to get them.”
The X Factor USA premieres on September 21 on Fox.

Nicole Scherzinger, whose No. 1 U.K. single “Don’t Hold Your Breath” was released in the United States on Aug. 16, says she has not yet found the song she will sing when it comes time to perform on Fox’s “The X Factor” this fall. What she does know, however, is that it has to be one of the strongest songs on her solo debut album.
“If it were up to me I would be performing every week,” Scherzinger told Billboard.biz Thursday (Aug. 18) after performing “Don’t Hold Your Breath” on “Regis and Kelly.” “I have to make sure to have the right song (for ‘X Factor’). It has to be a song that people will love. I’m judging a show where the prize is $5 million. The bar is raised. I know what I’m looking for and I’m going to make something special. My idea for the presentation is to throw everything into it. It’s full throttle.”
Interscope will release her U.S. solo debut, “Killer Love,” in November, most likely in the middle of the month when Scherzinger will have judged two or three live “X Factor” shows. She has already recorded more than 40 songs to be considered for her solo album, but insists that it “will not be finished until the very last minute. I don’t know if I will ever feel like I have finished the album.”
Nicole made an appearance on ‘Top 20 Countdown Fuse’ on Thursday (18), granting an interview to the hosts, Allison Hägendorf and Chernetsky Juliya. Check out our HQ’s pictures:

She grew up with some of the most beatiful sunsets in the world as a child in Hawaii – and it seems that Nicole Scherzinger looked to the skies to inspire her latest outfit today.
The 33-year-old stunning singer was seen in New York in a beautiful skin-tight bandeau dress that was somewhat reminiscent of a grey sky at sunset with its flashes of pinky reds across the waist and hem.

She appeared to be a tad lugubrious as her F1 superstar boyfriend drove her away from an expensive lunch in Beverly Hills yesterday.
But when she arrived at New York’s JFK airport today, Nicole Scherzinger had perked up considerably.
The 33-year-old X Factor judge looked lovely in jeans, pointed nude pumps and a white camisole with matching cardigan.
The ensemble was set off nicely by an unusual – but beautiful – lace trilby that matched embellishments on the singer’s sunglasses.
But the most fetching accessory of all was the mega-watt smile Scherzinger flashed as she strolled through the terminal.

Nicole chose “Don’t Hold Your Breath” to be her second single on US and the promotion starts on August 18th at Regis & Kelly, a day before (15) been released the single on iTunes, the video is available to buy.
“Wet” will not be released as single in the country, but the video can be bought by online store costing $1.99.
Factor judge and Pussycat Doll singer Nicole Scherzinger is set to make a bold statement with her forthcoming album, “Killer Love”. Featuring the recently released single “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” the album will feature a mix of rock, soul, and funk according to her label, Tuesday.
“Nicole is gearing up for the release of Killer Love — a bold, statement-making collection that combines Nicole’s love for rock, soul, and funk with alluring pop productions,” reports Interscope. “Killer Love announces Nicole, who spent five years leading The Pussycat Dolls, as an artist in her own right, showcasing her powerful voice, ear for irresistible melodies, and considerable songwriting talent.”
Led by “Don’t Hold Your Breath,” a follow up to the summer smash “Right There,” “Killer Love” features contributions from Toby Gad, Josh Alexander and Bill Steinberg.
“Killer Love” is slated for release this November.

“The X Factor” U.S. judge Nicole Scherzinger is set to perform on the New York City-based talk show “Live! With Regis and Kelly” on August 18, 2011. Scherzinger (formerly of the Pussycat Dolls) will do her first U.S. TV performance of her song “Don’t Hold Your Breath.”
As previously reported, “Don’t Hold Your Breath” (which went on sale the U.S. on August 16, 2011) is Scherzinger’s second solo single to be released in the United States. The song hit No. 1 in the United Kingdom in March 2011, the same month that Scherzinger’s debut solo album, “Killer Love,” was released in Europe.
