Singer full of praise for X Factor mentor
Jahmene Douglas has told EntertainmentWise that he thinks a lot of men would love to have a woman like Nicole Scherzinger in their lives.
The singer, who finished second on the 2012 run of The X Factor, had the former Pussycat Doll as a mentor, and will release his debut album Love Never Fails in July.
He has collaborated with Scherzinger on a cover of ‘The Greatest Love Of All’, which they performed during last year’s finale.
Speaking to EntertainmentWise about whether he would marry a woman like Nicole, Jahmene said: “Any man and a few women would want a woman like Nicole!”
On Tulisa’s exit from the talent show, he said it’s important for the show to “evolve”, and suggested: “I think the panel has to evolve every year, I think they should have a guest spot… so it changes each week.”
He also promised that his album will be “gospel re-interpretation”.
Sharon Osbourne was welcomed back to the X Factor panel earlier today when the 2013 auditions kicked off in Glasgow, and the 60 year old star has said that she can’t wait to work with fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger because she’s been a huge fan of her for a while. N’awww!
Sharon joined Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Nicole to kick off their year’s auditions and unlike in previous years, hopefuls were given the chance to impress the panel in an intimate room with no audience or backing track.
Shazza was greeted at Glasgow’s Hilton hotel earlier today by a couple of hunky male locals, who opted to wear kilts (and nothing else) for her big day.
Former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole looked amazing in a snakeskin outfit topped off with red heels and Mrs. O couldn’t help but gush over her love for the Boomerang beauty, according to The Sun.
Sharon said: “I love her. I’ve known her for a long time, she is fantastic.”
Reports also suggest that the red headed reality star organised a ‘peace’ dinner for the 2013 panel last night to mark their first evening in the city.
As she linked arms with her hunky helpers outside the venue, embarrassed Sharon joked: “How bad is this?”
She added: “I can’t even begin to put into words how I feel. It’s fantastic to be back, it’s a dream come true.”
Happened in the past weekend, in Monte Carlo, Monaco, the qualifying session of the Formula 1 Gran Prix and Nicole Scherzinger appeared at the GP to support her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton.
Lewis also paid tribute on his helmet, painting Nicole and their bulldog in a graffiti style. The pilot said in an interview that the honor was to celebrate five years with Nicole. ‘ She is here for the race and I wanted to do something special for her’, said Lewis to BBC.
Check out the photos of Nicole in the qualifying session. (May 25)
Check out some photos published by Nicole and Eros and their social networks. The photos are from the recording of the video of Eros’ new single Fino All’estasi.
The video will be released soon and the single is already aired in the radio stations of Italy.
Nicole Scherzinger would be a safe investment for Simon Cowell to bring back to The X factor insists last year’s Marmite act Rylan Clark.
The tangoed Essex lad says Lewis Hamilton’s lover ‘made the show’ in her debut year amid gossip her return is being held up by a pay row and claims her F1 lover doesn’t want her to go back.
‘I think Nicole should stay. I think she made The X Factor last year, I think she is the most amazing mentor anyone could ask for,’ said Clark.
Rylan says he has the inside track, hinting Nic and her ‘Scher-mazing’ catchphrases will return.
‘I am still very good friends with her. I hope she comes back. I wouldn’t rule it out,’ he told Metro.

The third edition of the nods in the British capital, which has expanded its program to include more countries, was hosted by Sebastian Coe.
Oscar winner Ben Kingsley, Bollywood and Hollywood actor Anupam Kher and playwright Hanif Kureishi are among the winners at this year’s Asian Awards in the British capital.
Now in its third year, the Asian Awards cast its net wider for this edition to include honorees from across the Asian continent.
Kingsley was honored with a fellowship award while Kureishi, whose work includes the screenplay My Beautiful Laundrette, picked up the evening’s arts award and Kher, most recently seen in Silver Linings Playbook took home the cinema plaudit.
The awards also honored former Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger with its music nod while actress Nina Wadia picked up a plaudit for her television work which includes the BBC One soap opera EastEnders.
The swishy award ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel Park Lane Tuesday evening was hosted by Sebastian Coe, the man billed as one of the masterminds behind the London 2012 Olympics.
The nods are the only event in the U.K. calendar celebrating achievements of individuals originating from the Asian continent including those living in U.K., India, China, Japan, Korea, Singapore and other South and Far East countries, across entrepreneurialism, the arts and public life.
Previous Asian award honorees from the world of entertainment include Indian singer Asha Bhosle, Indian actor Amitabh Bachchan, British rapper Jay Sean and composer AR Rahman.

She’s one of the X Factor’s most outspoken judges with her very own vocabulary, she’s a chart-topping pop star and she’s dating probably the world’s hottest Formula 1 driver (step forward Lewis Hamilton). It’s fair to say her life is pretty darn fabulous. So, when Grazia Daily had the opportunity to quiz Nicole Scherzinger on just how she does it, we jumped at the opportunity. Here’s what we learned…
1. Luxury is…
A nice aromatherapy bath, aromatherapy deep tissue massage, a beautiful dinner with a gorgeous dessert, a movie… I don’t get much down time, so that’s why I appreciate something as simple as a bath.
2. Holidaying in style…
Last year, my boyfriend rented me a boat for my birthday in the south of France. It was really special. I’ve been on boats before, but it was a boat just for me and him for three days. We had a crew of 10 helping us so I was really spoiled – that was sch-amazing.
3. My favourite luxury items…
For Christmas, my boyfriend got me new diamond studs. He’s getting props right now! I also have a Hermes bag. I like to pair high street with designers but I love Christian Louboutin, Saint Laurent, Roberto Cavalli and Alexander Wang.
4. I’m obsessed with onesies…
We have a group of friends and we call ourselves the Megazone so they gave me a Megazone onesie. I’m sad because I want more. They showed me a website where you can design your own onesie. I am all about the onesie, I’m living for the onesie right now. I want to design my own. I want a Boomerang onesie, a Sch-amazing onesie…
5. I can’t travel without…
I was on a flight with Emirates and they had this thing by Temple Spa called Take A Grip. Ever since then I’ve been in love with it. It’s a tiny little thing, you put it on your face and I swear it’s so invigorating and minty. You wash off and it’s like you’ve literally showered in a bottle. You’ve obviously got to hydrate a lot on the plane, drink a lot of water, get some rest. But if you are on the run, whether you’re on a plane or have a shoot or something, my newest favourite thing are these Bliss energising eye masks. Those are really good.
6. In my make-up bag…
I have this thing called Jouer. It’s a tinted moisturiser because I don’t like to wear a lot of foundation and it’s illuminating as well. I’ve always got an eyeliner, a waterproof black eyeliner. And Diorshow is good mascara.
7. Keeping in shape…
I like to run. I’m a runner indoors or outdoors. I like to start my day with a good sweat. It puts my head in the right space. I’m liking spinning classes now so I cycle and yoga too.
8. On my rider…
I usually have raw almonds, raw cashews, fruits and veggies, lemon and ginger for my voice, Haribo and Cheetos or baked Cheetos. And tea – lots of teas. I also have white or red wine – that’s a luxury too!
9. My favourite food…
I miss Mexican food when I come to the UK, I’m not going to lie. We talk about it all the time, but when I go home, I go straight to the Mexican restaurant. Yum city. But normally I can find dessert or chocolate anywhere, I’m a chocolate and cheese girl.
10. Speaking of desserts…
I’m the face of Müller de Luxe Corner desserts (on sale from today). So far, my favourite is the Marc de Champagne, it’s yummy! The nod to the champagne in the yoghurt really makes a difference. It tastes richer and it’s also got whipping cream in it too which helps! It’s very decedent. I imagine the coconut one is going to be my favourite.
We’ll be hosting a live Twitter Q&A with Nicole at 5pm today. Follow us @Grazia_live as we quiz the singer on her fashion and beauty tips.
Nicole Scherzinger swears by natural beauty products.
The former Pussycat Doll is known for her impressive vocal talents and fresh-faced beauty.
One of her favourite tricks is a natural remedy from her home state, which she regularly receives from her aunt.
“When I’m in the UK, I pop into [British store] Boots and pick up [brand] No7 foundation, but my favourite skincare treat is raw coconut oil,” she explained to InStyle.
“My aunt extracts it from her coconut tree in Hawaii and sends it to me in jars. It’s anti-bacterial and super-hydrating. You can use it on your body and your face.”
One of the singer’s most striking features is her thick, dark mane of hair.
In order to keep her locks glossy, the 34-year-old reaches for her top tried and tested products.
“I’m constantly drying out my hair using straighteners, so I rely on Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Shampoo and conditioner to rehydrate my hair,” she revealed.
“They contain Hawaiian coconut extract, but being of Hawaiian descent and a real nature girl, I fell in love with it.”
With her luscious locks, it’s no wonder Nicole is the celebrity ambassador for Herbal Essences.
The star revealed an unusual secret to keeping her hair in tip-top condition.
“It sounds horrible, but I think the secret is not washing it every single day,” she recently said.
“In my line of work, it’s always the day after that’s the best for shoots and stuff, so I wash it every few days. And when I don’t wash it so much, then I don’t have to cut it as much because I don’t have as many split ends.”
