Nicole Scherzinger has opened up for the first time about her departure from “The X Factor.”
In an interview with Access Hollywood correspondent Tim Vincent on Tuesday, as she announced her new role as Global Brand Ambassador for Herbal Essences, Nicole addressed parting ways with the FOX show.
“What happened?” Tim asked.
“What happened? Well, all I know is that I gave 110 percent to that show,” Nicole told Tim in Los Angeles on Tuesday. “I know everybody’s talking about it, they’re saying good, bad, they love me or hate me, but the one thing you can’t say is that I didn’t give it my all.”
Last week, FOX confirmed that Nicole, fellow judge Paula Abdul and show host Steve Jones would not be back for a second season on Simon Cowell’s singing reality competition, and Nicole told Tim she enjoyed her time on the stateside version.
“I had a wonderful experience on the show,” Nicole continued. “I loved being a part of my ‘X Factor’ family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets. I’ve always believed in never looking back and just moving forward and I’ve got an amazing year to look forward to.”
With her hair constantly at the mercy of curling irons, straighteners and blow dryers, Nicole Scherzinger relies on hydrating products to keep her hair healthy. And now, she’ll likely have a lot of them at her disposable: the singer and former X Factor judge is the newest face of Herbal Essences.
“It’s amazing,” she tells PEOPLE of the new gig. “I have a big grin on my face and I’m glowing. I’m really proud to be partnered with this brand.”
Though Scherzinger calls her “super-long” hair “strong,” she says it’s often hard to take care of because it is subjected to so much heat styling. “I always have to change hairstyles, whether it’s being on TV one minute to being on stage the next, then going to dinner or a meeting,” she explains. “It’s important to keep it hydrated, and use the right products to protect it from the heat.” To that end, she credits Herbal Essences’ Hello Hydration, Hydralicious and Long Term Relationship with locking in moisture and preventing split ends.
When she’s enjoying a day off, Scherzinger generally gives her hair a break, letting it air dry before tossing it up in a bun. But she’s no styling amateur herself: the day of her Herbal Essences shoot, the singer was even giving her glam squad advice. “I know all the mousses, honey,” she shares. “Normally people associate mousse with perms, but with this hair, are you kidding me?! Mousse equals volumizing.”
Scherzinger will appear in Herbal Essences’ print ads as well as commercials — some of which will feature her music. “It’s what I’ve worked so hard for my whole life,” she says. “Not only to have music as my driving force, but to build my brand and be associated with products I believe in — those that are a direct reflection of who I am.”

Nicole Scherzinger and her boyfriend Lewis Hamilton (British Formula One racing driver from England and currently racing for the McLaren team) dined at Mastros Steakhouse and the couple looked amazing as always! Lewis agreed with the paparazzi that Nicole should get her own singing competition show since she recently left the US version of the ‘X Factor.’

As we previously reported, the VIP packages for shows in London, Manchester, Dublin, Brussels and Birmingham are already sold out, remaining only those ones for the show in Belfast. However, looks like the show that will happen at Waterfront hasn’t sold its packages.
The site VIP Nation, the one responsible for the sales, closed the sale of packages without informing the reason. Portal Nicole tried to get in touch with them and they informed that the VIP Packages were being sold out, but their sales close 10 days earlier, regardless of whether or not sold all the packages.
So the show in Belfast hasn’t sold all its VIP packages.
Updated: VIP Nation was selling VIP packages for Nicole’s tour in Brussels and Dublin for a limited time. All the VIP packages and the “normal tickets” for show in London at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo are sold out. The place holds around 8.671 people.

She was the Pussycat that got the cream — a high-profile new role on the American X Factor, a successful start to her solo career and a pin-up boyfriend in the form of Lewis Hamilton.
But the last year has been a rollercoaster ride for pop-star Nicole Scherzinger. As well as coping with the reality of being an X Factor judge – it’s been alleged she received death threats over one of her decisions – the 33-year-old beauty was devastated when her relationship with Hamilton came to an end. Then, just days after this interview was conducted, news broke that Scherzinger was quitting the show after just one season, along with Welsh host Steve Jones and possibly fellow judge Paula Abdul. Some reports suggest she left of her own accord, others claim she was axed. But the former Pussycat Doll did hint during our transatlantic telephone chat that a return was not on the cards.
Speaking from her Los Angeles home, she tells me that after a well-deserved break in Mexico, she is gearing up to embark on her first ever solo tour. And she says that 2012 will be all about the music.
“I’m so excited about this tour,” she purrs, in a rather hypnotising voice. “I’m in the process of getting ready for it, doing a lot of research. I know that it’s a theatre tour so I want to make sure the show is well rounded and that I draw up the proper set list.
“There’ll be a little bit of everything in there, singing and dancing, a Pussycat Dolls set, a stripped back acoustic set, my own songs.
“It’ll be a bit weird not having the rest of the girls with me but I’ll be bringing their energy onto the stage. And I have a brilliant live band and some beautiful dancers.
“I’m training a lot at the moment too, doing loads of cardio to make sure I’m in the best possible shape and that I’m able to give a good full hour and a half to the fans. I want to give them a brilliant night out.”

Macy Gray is going the interpretive route for her next album, covering songs by the likes of Kanye West, Metallica and Radiohead.
Produced by Hal Willner, 429 Records will release Gray’s “Covered” on March 27. Gray chose mostly indie rock songs from the last decade that she has been performing live in recent years. Arcade Fire’s “Wake Up” and My Chemical Romance’s “Teenagers” are among the songs Gray has overhauled. A few spoken word skits break up the music.
Gray, who was inspired by Nina Simone’s covers, will embark on a worldwide tour to support the album. She recently finished filming on “The Paperboy” that stars John Cusack, Zach Efron, Nicole Kidman and Matthew McConaughey.
Her last album, “The Sellout” was released in June 2010. It has sold 37,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
